Interior Designer & Procurement Specialist

Full-Time | Northwest Indiana | Casa Healthcare

Casa Healthcare is seeking a highly creative, detail-oriented Interior Designer & Procurement Specialist to lead design and purchasing initiatives across our healthcare facilities. This role blends interior design expertise with strategic procurement, helping shape functional, beautiful, and brand-consistent environments for our residents, guests, and employees.

This is an exciting opportunity to directly influence the look, feel, and efficiency of a rapidly growing healthcare organization.


Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Branding
  • Develop and implement interior design plans, including layouts, finishes, furniture, and color schemes

  • Partner with leadership and marketing to ensure brand consistency across all facilities

  • Conduct site visits and provide space-planning recommendations to enhance functionality and aesthetics

  • Advise on interior, exterior, and landscaping design to maintain a polished, welcoming environment

Procurement & Vendor Management
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery

  • Establish and maintain preferred vendor lists and designer accounts with discounted pricing

  • Streamline purchasing processes, quotes, and approvals to support operational efficiency

  • Assist facilities with procurement of furniture, equipment, décor, and supplies at the best value

Project Oversight
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and deliverables for all design-related projects

  • Coordinate contractors, painters, movers, and maintenance teams to ensure successful execution

  • Track and maintain inventory of furniture, fixtures, equipment, samples, and materials


Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in interior design and procurement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field (preferred)

  • Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and purchasing platforms

  • Strong negotiation, vendor relations, and project management skills

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Ability to work onsite from our Skokie, IL office
