Interior Carpenter

Bayliss Boatworks is currently seeking skilled and enthusiastic carpenters with 3 or more years of experience for our interior carpentry department at our facility in Wanchese. We are hiring from all industries to join us on our mission to build the best custom sportfishing yachts in the world.

As part of our team, qualified candidates will have advanced woodworking experience, a keen eye for detail, and a strong work ethic. Youโ€™ll be working on some of the most intricate and high-quality custom interiors in the marine industry. Experience with radius and curved surfaces, veneers, and exotic woods is a definite plus. If you're self-motivated and ready to learn new skills in a high-performance environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced interior carpentry work, including custom woodwork and finishing for luxury sportfishing yachts.
  • Work with a variety of materials, including veneers and exotic woods, to create precise, high-quality finishes.
  • Collaborate with other craftsmen and departments to ensure high standards of craftsmanship.
  • Focus on detail and precision to create outstanding, custom interior features for each vessel.
