Job description

Skillforce Inc. is currently hiring experienced Finish Carpenters for upcoming condominium projects in Wausau, WI. The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of carpentry experience, with strong experience in finish and interior carpentry. Pay is $30–$35 per hour based on skill set and experience.

Finish Carpenter Responsibilities:
  • Perform finish carpentry work on condominium construction projects
  • Install baseboards, trim, molding, and other finish materials
  • Install and adjust doors, door frames, and hardware
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install wood and finish materials accurately
  • Complete interior finishing and punch-list work
  • Read and interpret blueprints, measurements, and project specifications
  • Ensure completed work meets quality standards and project requirements
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Work collaboratively with other trades and contractors to keep projects on schedule
Finish Carpenter Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of carpentry experience
  • Previous finish carpentry experience required
  • Experience working on residential, multifamily, or condominium projects preferred
  • Ability to accurately measure, cut, and install finish materials
  • Ability to read a tape measure and use standard carpentry tools
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Must have your own basic hand and power tools and PPE
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
