Job description

At the Essential Needs Center, we have an array of different volunteer opportunities. Here we house the Interfaith Works Clothing Center and Food Pantry. Most of our volunteers help us at the clothing center by sorting and hanging clothes, and organizing toys and home goods in our center. While our staff mainly manages the food pantry, sometimes we do have volunteers helping restock shelves and organize food items. We also often have special projects throughout the year, such as our annual backpack distribution, holiday giveaways, and community outreach events.

To volunteer with us, we require all new volunteers to sign up for orientation. Orientation is offered on Wednesdays from 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM and Saturdays from 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM. Once you have completed the orientation, you can schedule your volunteer dates and times.
