Job Description:
Parsons is seeking an experienced Interface Manager to join our Federal Solutions team. The successful candidate will bring strong expertise in coordinating complex interfaces across utilities, wastewater, electrical systems, and start-up activities on large industrial and federal projects.
Parsons delivers programs on secure federal installations and complex industrial sites where interface failures can have significant schedule and safety consequences. Candidates must be organized, proactive communicators, and comfortable working across technical disciplines and organizational boundaries.
An attractive Parsons compensation and benefits package is offered. This role provides the opportunity to lead interface management on major defense and industrial manufacturing programs while contributing to Parsons' project delivery capabilities.
Position requires substantial coordination with project teams at client and federal facilities, with travel as needed to support interface reviews, start-up planning, and multi-party coordination meetings.
This position is based near Little Rock, Arkansas and is part of a 4-5 year contract. During the first year, remote work is permitted. After the first year, the selected candidate will be required to either reside within commuting distance of Little Rock, AR or be willing to relocate to the area.
What You'll Be Doing:
Interface Managers ensure that design, construction, and start-up activities across multiple parties and systems remain aligned. You will identify interface risks early, drive resolution of conflicts, and maintain clear accountability matrices so that systems come together successfully at start-up and turnover.
  • Lead identification, mapping, and management of technical and organizational interfaces across design, construction, and start-up phases.
  • Develop and maintain interface matrices, responsibility assignments, and tracking registers for utilities, electrical, process, and facility systems.
  • Coordinate utility, wastewater treatment, electrical, and related system interfaces with process equipment and production systems.
  • Facilitate multi-party interface meetings and drive timely resolution of interface conflicts and open items.
  • Support start-up sequencing and integrated systems readiness by ensuring interface prerequisites are complete.
  • Review design and construction deliverables for interface completeness and clarity of responsibility.
  • Escalate critical interface risks to project leadership with recommended mitigation actions.
  • Prepare clear interface status reports and briefings for project leadership and clients.
  • Team with project management, engineering, commissioning, and contractor personnel to maintain alignment.
  • Additional office locations or hybrid arrangements may be considered upon request consistent with project demands.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • 5+ years of experience in utility, wastewater, electrical, or start-up coordination and interface management on complex industrial or federal projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multi-party interfaces and drive resolution of technical and organizational conflicts.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work across disciplines and organizational boundaries.
  • Experience with start-up sequencing or integrated systems readiness preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to support on-site interface and start-up coordination at client and federal facilities as required.
  • Must be able to pass a general background check.
  • Must be able to speak fluent English (Ability to speak Korean is a plus)

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • Prior experience on defense manufacturing, high-hazard process, or large industrial facility projects.
  • Familiarity with process utilities, electrical distribution, and wastewater systems in industrial settings.
  • Experience with interface management tools and formal RACI or responsibility matrices.
  • PMP or similar project management credential advantageous.
