Job description

Candidates must have a drive to create a safe and clean space for guests. If you are detail-oriented and take pride in your cleaning skills, we would love to meet you!

Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly clean, dust, vacuum and mop room and bathroom according to IHG standards and procedure.
  • Clean rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Stock assigned housekeeping cart with cleaning supplies and room amenities.
  • Replenish guest amenities in rooms as needed.
  • Maintain clean and organized housekeeping storage.
  • Communicate any maintenance concerns to maintenance department.
  • Transport waste and trash to proper disposal area.
  • Turn in Lost and Found items to the front desk.
  • Maintain guest confidentiality.
  • Greet guests and respond to guest requests or concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Frequent standing, bending, walking, and moving around the hotel.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull, up to 50 pounds.
  • Physical strength and stamina to work extended periods.
  • Availability to include weekends.
  • Prioritization and time management skills.
