Employment Opportunity

Sometimes the threat to life, destruction of critical infrastructure or damage to the environment is so severe that a specially trained and equipped security force is needed. When that happens, Inter-Con turns to its Security Officers. As part of this elite team you will secure some of our most vital assets. You will be trained in enhanced security procedures and be exposed to cutting edge technology. The qualifications are high and the training is rigorous, but if you make it you'll join one of the most exclusive clubs in the Inter-Con family. As an Security Officer Supervisor you are at the tip of the spear when it comes to the advanced security solutions we provide our clients every day.

Qualifications
  • Speak, read, and write English
  • Must be age 21 or older
  • Must be a US Citizen (Naturalization Certificate Accepted)
  • Shall possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalency
  • Possess 3 years of Security Supervisor experience within the last 4 years, or possess Military experience. (E4, Honorable Discharge, 5 years of active duty
Responsibilities
  • Ensure proper posting of assigned officers and accountability of equipment.
  • Instruct and assist officers under the supervision in the proper performance of their duties.
  • Responds to calls for security service and ensures that proper action is taken as applicable.
  • Reviews accuracy and completeness of all reports submitted by subordinate officers.
  • Complies with all rules, regulations and procedures, and promptly responds to and reports any misconduct or violation of the rules and regulations on the part of the subordinate.
  • May be required to perform emergency duties which require physical exertion such as: standing or walking for an entire shift, climbing stairs, lifting, carrying up to 50lbs. and running.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned
Work Environment and Schedule
  • Job operates in client sites which could be indoors or outdoors.
  • Position requires prolonged standing and walking, in the performance of daily security activities.
  • Open availability Nights, Weekends, Holidays and overtime as directed(overtime occurs).
  • Work various shifts and Holidays as assigned.
