LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting a well-established and highly respected law firm in its search for an experienced Intellectual Property Paralegal. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative legal team supporting sophisticated intellectual property matters for a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities- Manage patent and trademark prosecution matters from filing through maintenance, ensuring deadlines and requirements are accurately tracked and met.
- Prepare and submit a variety of intellectual property filings and supporting documentation with U.S. and international patent offices.
- Maintain and update IP docketing systems, monitor critical deadlines, and generate reports for attorneys and legal staff.
- Assist attorneys with intellectual property aspects of corporate transactions, including technology licensing and business acquisitions.
- Coordinate communications with clients, government agencies, foreign associates, vendors, experts, and legal professionals.
- Support ongoing portfolio management efforts and help ensure compliance with filing and maintenance requirements.
Qualifications- 3+ years of paralegal experience supporting intellectual property matters within a law firm environment.
- Familiarity with patent and trademark prosecution procedures and related filings.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented legal environment.
- Proficiency with legal technology, docketing platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
