The role
Job Summary
The Paralegal position is a legal role focused on helping drive the business by working with the legal department and being a liaison between legal and other departments in the company. The position requires a blend of legal expertise and technical understanding to navigate the complexities of intellectual property, data privacy, contracts and compliance issues.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Serve as the paralegal to all legal team members.
  • Work as a liaison between legal and other departments including; sales, finance, operations etc.
  • Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements related to technology transactions..
  • Assist in managing cases involving technology disputes, including organizing evidence and maintaining case files and working with outside counsel to assist in providing information and documents as needed.
  • Help ensure compliance with data protection laws and industry regulations.
  • Coordinate and manage contracts within a clm system and assist sales with moving these contracts forward.

5% for potential occasional travel for internal meetings.

What you offer
  • Demonstrated experience using AI in a practical, applied way - such as improving workflows, automating tasks, enabling better decision-making, or increasing impact in prior roles. This does not require deep technical or engineering expertise in AI; we value applied use, experimenting, and a mindset of curiosity and continuous learning.
  • A degree in paralegal studies or a related field, with additional coursework in technology law preferred
  • Success or strong aptitude and knowledge in technology, services, or solution sales.
  • Familiarity with legal technology tools and software for clm document management and research.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with legal teams and clients, vendors and other third parties.
  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide clear summaries.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and be comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
  • Broad relevant industry experience.
  • Extensive experience drafting relevant contracts including; NDA's, MSA's, SOW's etc.

  • Delivers accurate, timely legal support across contracts, case files, and documentation.
  • Manages CLM workflows and partners effectively with Legal, Sales, Finance, Operations, vendors, the legal team members and outside counsel.
  • Uses sound judgment, compliance awareness, and AI/legal technology to improve efficiency and support business decisions.

Organizational Alignment
  • Reports to: Regional General Counsel for NORAM
  • Collaborates with: Sales, Finance, Operations and other departments
  • Development model: Receives ongoing coaching, mentorship, and support from legal team

Target compensation for this role will be $77k - $82K USD(mix of base salary and bonus). Actual offers may be higher or lower than this range and will be determined based on a variety of factors, including (but not limited to) candidates' qualifications, experience, education, and work location.
