Intellectual Property Litigation Associate Attorney AmLaw 50 Opportunity Compensation

$260,000 โ€“ $365,000

A premier global law firm is seeking an Intellectual Property Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Washington, DC office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing leading technology companies, innovators, and Fortune 500 businesses in sophisticated patent and intellectual property litigation.

Ideal Background
  • 3โ€“5 years of intellectual property litigation or patent litigation experience gained at a sophisticated law firm
  • Experience handling patent infringement litigation and other complex intellectual property disputes in federal courts
  • Experience managing all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, discovery, depositions, claim construction, expert discovery, trial preparation, and appeals
  • Experience representing technology companies, software developers, electronics manufacturers, telecommunications companies, semiconductor companies, or other innovative businesses
  • Technical background strongly preferred
  • Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field is highly preferred
  • Experience with PTAB proceedings, inter partes review (IPR), or other postโ€‘grant proceedings is a plus
  • Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
  • Ability to independently manage sophisticated litigation matters while maintaining significant client interaction
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • J.D. from an ABAโ€‘accredited law school required
  • DC bar admission required or ability to become admitted
