Job description

As the Integrated Marketing Manager, you will assist with the development and management of our email marketing/SMS campaigns in addition to supporting the overall integrated marketing department as needed.
This position will report to the Sr. Director, Integrated Marketing and work closely with Sales, Partnerships, Marketing, and Business Strategy & Analytics. We are looking for a self-motivated team member with a positive, upbeat attitude that can lead and connect with our fans!
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
  • Assist with strategic development of Pistons and Motor City Cruise email and SMS campaigns including gameday communications, member communications, and weekly newsletters
  • Develop copy and lead content strategy for email and SMS campaigns/journeys, and execute utilizing Adobe Journey Optimizer and Community
  • Work with Business Strategy and Analytics team to define audiences and measure success, analyze campaign effectiveness, and uncover actionable insights
  • Coordinate with internal CSR, brand marketing, retail, sales and partnership teams on campaigns
  • Work with Pistons creative team to develop digital assets for holistic marketing campaigns, including email and SMS
  • Prepare and deliver weekly status reports, league reports, and partner tracking reports to highlight key metrics, trends, and optimization opportunities
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimize for engagement and conversion
  • Update internal status reports as needed
  • Assist with monthly media planning
  • Support Senior Director, Integrated Marketing with additional department tasks related to web, mobile app, paid social, and esports/gaming as needed

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university required
  • Knowledge of email marketing and SMS platforms, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Community, and Asana a plus
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and develop impactful copy for campaigns
  • Ability to work outside of standard business hours including nights and weekends
  • Must demonstrate a high degree of motivation, time management and attention to detail
  • Ability to present ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • Tact and patience in a fast-paced environment
