Job description

Systems Engineer (Integration, Verification & Validation) Location: Tucson, AZ Clearance Required: No Clearance Required U.S. Citizenship: Required as the work location is governed by U.S. Department of Defense rules and regulations Pay: $120k-$160K DOE Position Overview We are seeking a Systems Engineer to support integration efforts for a mission-critical payload program in Tucson, AZ.

This role differs from traditional requirements-focused systems engineering positions. Instead, we are looking for a candidate with strong experience in verification, integration & test, and validation (V&V) - with emphasis on the "right side" of the Systems Engineering V-model. This position is ideally suited for a senior-level engineer; however, candidates with mid-level experience will be considered if they possess the right integration and V&V background.

Key Responsibilities * Support system integration activities across hardware, software, and payload subsystems * Develop and execute verification and validation (V&V) plans, procedures, and test events * Lead or support system-level integration and test efforts * Perform requirements verification through analysis, inspection, demonstration, and test * Troubleshoot integration issues and coordinate resolution across cross-functional teams * Support test readiness reviews, integration readiness reviews, and technical interchange meetings * Ensure system performance meets mission and program requirements * Document test results, discrepancies, and corrective actions * Collaborate with systems, software, hardware, and program teams to ensure successful system delivery Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field * Experience supporting system integration, verification, and validation activities * Strong understanding of the Systems Engineering V-Model, particularly the integration and test phases * Experience developing and executing test procedures and verification plans * Ability to troubleshoot complex system-level issues * Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications * Senior-level systems engineering experience * Experience supporting payload programs or defense/aerospace systems * Background in hardware/software integration environments * Experience with formal test events and documentation processes * Familiarity with requirements management and traceability tools (DOORS, Jama, etc.) Level Consideration * Senior Level Preferred, but candidates with the appropriate integration and V&V experience at a mid-level will be considered Anistar PAYS YOU for referrals!!!!!!!!
