Role: Cybersecurity Project Manager II

Location: Plymouth Atria office, MN hybrid schedule

Exp Level: 5-8 years

1. Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager II (Cybersecurity) to lead new build security initiatives planned to launch in April. This role will drive the planning and execution of multiple Microsoft security and identity platform implementations, ensuring coordinated delivery across security, identity, infrastructure, and digital workplace teams.

This is a hands-on project delivery role with full accountability for timeline, scope, dependencies, risk management, and stakeholder communication. The Project Manager will be responsible for guiding these initiatives through phased implementation and ensuring a smooth transition to a modern, integrated security and identity platform throughout FY26.

2. Operating Environment (Critical Context)

This role supports net new cybersecurity build initiatives

Key initiatives include:

o Microsoft E5 / Entra Suite rollout

o Microsoft Sentinel implementation

o Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) capabilities

Delivery requires tight coordination across:

o Security Operations

o Identity teams

o Infrastructure

o Digital Workplace

o External partners and vendors

Work is deadline driven and dependency heavy, with material operational and end user

impact if not well coordinated

3. Scope of Work / Key Responsibilities

The Project Manager II will:

Own end to end project delivery for Microsoft E5/Entra Suite, Sentinel, and IGA initiatives

Define project parameters, schedules, staffing plans, and execution procedures

Develop and maintain integrated project plans, including:

o Tasks

o Estimates

o Dependencies

o Milestones

Lead phased implementations and manage complex interdependencies across workstreams

Coordinate cross functional teams and external partners to ensure aligned execution

Drive timeline adherence, risk mitigation, and issue resolution

Review and adjust project plans based on status reporting and change impacts

Ensure compliance with:

o Security standards

o Regulatory requirements

o Governance controls

Support change management, communications, and readiness activities to minimize

operational and end user disruption

Maintain accurate cost forecasting and track cost to complete

Prepare and deliver:

o Executive level status reports

o Stakeholder updates

o Project documentation and artifacts

Maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships

Drive acceptance, sign off, and formal project closure

Hold full accountability for successful project completion

4. Required Skills & Experience (Must Haves)

5 8+ years of experience in IT project management

Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise cybersecurity or identity initiatives

Strong understanding of Microsoft security and identity platforms, including:

o Microsoft E5 / Entra

o Microsoft Sentinel

o Identity Governance & Administration (IGA)

Proven ability to manage:
