Job description

Summary

Enerflex is a single-source supplier of products and services to the global oil, gas and petrochemical industry. We provide gas compression and processing as well as process refrigeration equipment to all major oil and gas companies operating in upstream, midstream and downstream market segments. Enerflex supports its operations through corporate, regional and field office infrastructure throughout the World.

Refrigeration and Downstream Department focus area include refrigeration systems and refrigeration compression equipment utilizing mainly oil flooded screw and centrifugal compressors as well as systems for boil off gas, LPG export/import facilities. It also includes specialty gas (hydrogen, fuel gas, CO2) systems utilizing screw and reciprocating compressors. The customers are major oil& gas companies, petrochemical facilities, offshore installations and large EPC contractors.

The department's team consists of highly skilled and motivated mechanical and chemical sales and applications engineers with various degrees of experience. Considered a core to the success of the company, the department attracts the best and brightest engineers in the industry and offers unparalleled exposure to the latest technology in the oil, gas and petrochemical markets.

Sales Engineer will be responsible for leading the sales effort on projects and products described above. The position is supported by a team of applications engineers skilled in technical design, system optimization and cost estimation. Typically, applications engineer will develop system design and technical/commercial proposals, as required by the customer based on the feedback from the sales engineer.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties
  • Meet sales targets.
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies leading to successful orders
  • Maintain customer base within market area of focus. Be aware of potential projects suitable for execution by Enerflex.
  • Network and develop relationships with customers to further the Enerflex brand reputation and promise
  • Be able to demonstrate the benefits of Enerflex products to prospective customers
  • Review project documentation and prepare budgetary quotations as necessary
  • Liaison with applications engineer to develop and submit proposal to the customers.
  • Review project commercial T&Cs and provide comments as necessary. Liaison with Enerflex legal and commercial team as necessary.
  • Stay engaged with the customer and the factory during project execution. Assure the projects are executed to customer and company satisfaction
  • Travel and work nonstandard hours including evenings and weekends as required.
  • Abide by and promote company HSE policy
Qualifications
  • Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree coupled with minimum 5-10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledgeable with refrigeration and rotating equipment fundamentals.
  • Excellent networking and customer relationship skills
  • Demonstrated ethical behavior
  • Being organized with attention to detail.
  • Having excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and team oriented, capable of learning, managing time, priorities, and operating well under pressure with little supervision.
