POSITION SUMMARY

Manage production teams on two or more shifts in completion of testing and analysis of integrated circuits in a safe, efficient and accurate manner while ensuring compliance with all Integra guidelines. Oversee daily production activities, employee scheduling, quality, and maintaining performance standards in order to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction in delivery and quality.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE

  • Provide strong leadership, effective motivation, and goal setting to test, lab and environmental operators to meet department set goals related to quality, productivity, load completion, on time delivery and line improvement productivity projects.
  • Promote and provide continuous improvement of quality and productivity initiatives.
  • Manage the quality of work performed on shifts through inspections, instruction, and coaching to guarantee consistent high-quality workmanship.
  • Maintain a safe, healthy work environment according to company policies and standards including compliance to legal regulations.
  • Manage high quality output based on production work load thru management of team attendance, optimizing operator workload allocation, compliance to procedures and quick resolution of issues.
  • Provide positive motivation and effective communication to employees, in shift stand ups and one on one. Provide continuous improvement feedback and input to direct reports. Foster and develop training and growth opportunities.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relations with shift support to prioritize Operations support needs and assign tasks to shift support (Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering).
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, production personnel, and others regarding test results and also to resolve equipment and production problems as they arise.
  • Assist with paperwork and report approvals for operators.
  • Manage departmental ISO procedures in support of recertification.
  • Hire and supervise direct reports, providing guidance on day-to-day tasks, training, time management, employee evaluations and performance management. Ensure that direct reports adhere to policies, procedures, roles and regulations.
  • Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Management or related field preferred. However, a combination of education and experience wherein the skills and abilities to perform the responsibilities and functions have been adequately demonstrated is acceptable.

Experience: Two years of semiconductor industry experience preferred; four years of experience in a supervisory capacity required.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Must demonstrate a commitment to service, organization values and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times as well as the ability to foster a collaborative working environment.
  • Must possess the ability to:
    1. Inspire, lead and motivate while positively representing Integra Technologies.
  1. Effectively and efficiently utilize Microsoft Office and other computer products and programs.
  2. Anticipate and resolve complex, non-routine problems.
  3. Define problems, collect data, draw valid conclusions, and drive corrective actions.
  4. Read and interpret technical documents such as safety manuals, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  5. Utilize effective communication skills to achieve required results.
