POSITION SUMMARY

Supervise production team in completion of automated and manual manufacturing build practices in a safe, efficient and accurate manner while ensuring compliance with all Integra guidelines. Responsibilities range from daily production activities, employee scheduling, quality, and maintaining performance standards in order to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction in delivery and quality. Identifies and resolves problems, and implements continuous improvements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE

Within assigned department(s) which may include: Mfg.-Thinning and Polishing, Mfg.-Dicing-Saw-Scribe-Break, Mfg.-Pick and Place, Mfg-Inspection-2nd Optical:

  • Provide strong leadership, effective motivation, and goal setting to meet goals related to quality, productivity, load completion and on time delivery.
  • Resolve problematic processes on the production line and escalate issues to Production Manager.
  • Maintain a safe, healthy work environment according to company policies and reinforce the Company Standard of Accountability.
  • Ensure that the inspection methods used are well defined and documented to the latest revision procedures.
  • Ensure that the operators are well trained and certified to the latest customer procedures and Integra specifications.
  • Support internal audits, ISO AS9100D, and ISO 13485 Quality Management Systems and product quality requirements.
  • Sustain and develop as necessary quality assurance inspection plans to support Operations and Engineering. Identify critical quality and scheduling problems and apply the necessary measures to resolve the problems.
  • Interface with customers to ensure compliance with quality requirements of their products and respond to Corrective Action Prevention Action request. Ensure products are meeting customer satisfaction requirements.
  • Implement Quality policies and ensure that operational procedures and work instructions are followed.
  • Assist the Quality Organization in implementing the correct solutions for the initiated corrective actions.
  • Attend supervisor pass-down at shift change and load production to keep all departments balanced.
  • Coordinate with Planning and Maintenance Team and acknowledge and execute Discrepancy Report System.
  • Confer with Sales Team on customer commitments and generate Yield Reports.
  • Schedule assignments to cover respective shift and schedule overtime as needed. Manage the overtime hours to ensure that they meet the scheduling and on-time delivery requirements.
  • Hire and supervise direct reports, providing guidance on day-to-day tasks, training, time management, employee evaluations and performance management. Ensure that direct reports adhere to policies, procedures roles and regulations.
  • Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

Education: Technical Degree in Quality, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in the semiconductor industry with a thorough knowledge of production systems and quality control.
  • Experience with ESD protocol, practices and measurements.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Must possess a strong understanding of quality assurance concepts, best practices, and methodology.
  • Must possess the ability to:
    1. Effectively communicate with internal and external customers, both verbally and in writing.
    2. Motivate, influence and inspire others.
    3. Build rapport with employees, management team and outside organizations.
    4. Continually seek process improvement.
    5. Remain highly organized and motivated, goal and people-oriented, and able to operate independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.
    6. Manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, work under pressure, create consensus, and produce results.
    7. Be flexible, including work schedule based on the needs of the customer and the business. Meet deadlines and customer expectations.
