Job description

We are looking for a warm, welcoming volunteer to serve at the Front Desk of our pantry! This role is the first point of contact for our clients, so a positive attitude and a happy smile are a must.

Front Desk Volunteers greet and welcome clients, answer questions and address concerns, check IDs and required paperwork, and help complete participant forms. Volunteers enter participant data after each visit, distribute food carts, and provide emergency food bags as needed. You may also assist with loading groceries into clients’ cars if they are unable to. This position plays a key role in creating a respectful, caring, and supportive experience for everyone who visits.

Because many of our clients are Spanish-speaking, we would prefer a bilingual (English/Spanish) volunteer for this role.

Volunteer shift hours are from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. We are looking for help on Mondays or Thursdays.
