JOIN OUR TEAM AS A REGISTERED NURSE (RN) INTAKE!
$10,000 sign-on bonus + 100% company-paid medical up to family coverage OR Opt-out of medical insurance for additional compensation of up to $10,000 annually for FT employees.
Compensation ranges, including differentials (if applicable) by shift:
Days to Evenings: $40.00-$51.00/hr
Evenings to Nights: $43.00-$52.00/hr
Weekend Days to Evenings: $44.00-$54.00/hr
Weekend Evenings to Overnights: $46.00-$54.00/hr
Your Work Matters How will you make a difference?
The Registered Nurse (RN) Intake is a registered professional nurse who assesses and evaluates patients being admitted to the hospital, takes physician orders and does complete medication reconciliation with the physician in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. Must have good clinical skills and be able to work independently with minimum supervision.

  • Complete the Nursing Assessment documenting patient information, medications, medical history, vital signs, and skin assessment.
  • Responsible for working with children, adolescents, adults, and senior populations.
  • Must be familiar with common diagnoses with these population groups and familiar with specific assessment and interviewing skills for each population group.
  • Call physician for admission and medication orders. Complete Medication Reconciliation by patient/family/pharmacy verification.
  • Report any signs or symptoms of infection, illness, medical instability to physician after assessment.
  • Document patient information and nursing care in the provision of nursing services.
  • Document and reassess any significant changes in the patient's condition in compliance with facility policy.
  • Responsible for walking patient to unit and giving report to the unit nurse.
Your Experience Matters What we're looking for:
  • Education & Licensure (if applicable): Graduate from an accredited RN program; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Currently licensed to practice by the Massachusetts State Board of Nursing.
  • Experience: A minimum of three (3) years experience in a psychiatric facility preferred.
  • Additional Skill Requirements: Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications. CPR certification and successful completion of Management of Aggressive Behavior including restraint and seclusion policies, within 30 days of employment, and prior to assisting in restraining procedures. Must have a working knowledge of the DSM-X, the Mental Status Exam, and the Addiction and Recovery field.
