Job Duties:
This position works on a unit with routine contact with incarcerated individuals. Daytoday functions include supervising the work of others, preparing and assigning documents for intake processing. Make sure that all staff members complete their job duties in a timely manner, following policy and procedures. Make sure all processing is completed in a timely manner to stay on task with audit guidelines.
You'd be a GOOD fit if:
You have high school diploma or GED.
You have two years fulltime, wageearning customer service, clerical, administrative support, technical program support, criminal justice and any additional qualifying experience can count toward college credit on a yearforyear basis.
You must obtain a certificate of course completion for the Texas Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (TLETS) policy and procedures training from the Texas Department of Public Safety within six months of employment date.
You have a general knowledge of Microsoft programs (i.e., Excel, Word and Outlook).
You are detail oriented and have strong work ethics.
You'd be a GREAT fit if:
You have experience supervising employees, work in intake, classification or criminal justice experience.
You should be able to communicate ideas and instructions clearly.
You should be able to coordinate effectively with staff, departments, officials, agencies, organizations, as well as the public.
You are able to interpret and apply rules and regulations, policy and procedures.
You can p rovide training for all staff members when changes are made to within the Intake manual.
You have strong typing skills
You have extensive knowledge of Microsoft programs.
