Title: Assistant Care Team Manager


The Assistant Care Team Manager at Copper Star Home Medical is responsible for overseeing the intake process
within Copper Star, from IDR, First Impressions, and VOB. The ideal candidate will have a strong
background in customer service operations, preferably within the healthcare or durable medical
equipment industry, and will excel in managing and motivating a team to deliver outstanding customer
service.


This is an in-office position based in Draper, UT.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development and implementation of department goals as well as overall company
goals.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with company goals and address any
cross-functional issues.
• Analyze customer feedback and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement
solutions to address them.
• Maintaining accurate, complete files on customers to ensure efficient billing and follow-up care
according to company policy.
• Coordinate with Store Managers regarding patient care issues.
• Provide feedback and facilitate training.
• Monitor metrics and KPIs, including call volume, response time, and customer satisfaction
scores, and take corrective actions as needed.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our durable medical equipment
products and services to effectively address customer inquiries and concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including HIPAA and other healthcare-related
guidelines.
• Some after-hours/weekend work may be required.
• Perform other duties deemed appropriate by leadership.


Skills and Experience:
• 3-5 years of management experience in customer service functions involving producing results
through others.
• A demonstrated ability in leading high-performing teams to achieve performance goals.
• Experience and demonstrated ability in performance management and coaching.
• Superior verbal and written communication.
• Strong computer literacy skills.
• Effective decision-making and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to plan and prioritize both personal and team members work schedules.
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid or other medical insurance billing requirements.
• Ability to function as a company leader demonstrating Copper Star's core values, a positive
