Job Description

We are seeking a Full-time Intake Nurse to work and support our Oklahoma and Kansas markets, from our Oklahoma or Kansas office!

Position Responsibilities:

  • Answering phones, receives all referral and intake information.
  • Complete referral/intake forms and route them appropriately for admission approval.
  • Assist in the scheduling of appropriately skilled person to fill the case, inputs scheduling information on the computer.
  • Check common working files for Medicare Coverage and verification of benefit period.
  • Perform other duties as directed.

Job Conditions:

  • Office setting that will require regular phone usage, sitting, stooping and lifting of office supplies (ex. printer paper stacks).
  • The job requires the ability to utilize a PC, calculator, multi-line telephone, and other related office equipment.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or GED
  • Multi-state LPN license required.
  • Experience in a Home Health Care or Hospice setting preferred
  • Must be computer literate and able maintain simple records
  • Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Must have at least 3 years of Customer service experience
  • Must have at least 3 years of EMR System experience

Starting Salary: $56,160/yr
