Trimark is seeking a Proposal Specialist to help manage the entire proposal process when Requests For Proposals (RFPs) are received from customers and prospects. The Proposal Specialist will work both independently and as a key contributor on the business development team. In addition, the Specialist will work with Project Management and Engineering, when needed, to assist in determining the work scope and pricing for the proposals.


Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and update proposal templates for all the various types of proposals, including writing the content, updating the graphics, and formatting.
  • Write proposals based on pricing information, system block diagrams, and RFP work scopes. Review pricing compared to RFP work scope for accuracy.
  • Track the status of all proposals on an ongoing basis to ensure deadlines are met and issue tracking reports.
  • Organize and maintain proposal folders with all the related proposal information, such as proposal proofs, pricing, system block diagrams, emails, etc.
  • Track proposal statistics and pricing in an Excel spreadsheet for comparison purposes.
  • Create, maintain, and update proposal information and database in Sales Force/Deltek, such as contacts, addresses, site information, proposal status, etc.
  • Assist in marketing, social media, and PR efforts.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a technical field and at least two years of directly related experience in proposals or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience working with sales in the SCADA and/or utility-scale renewable energy field strongly preferred
  • Strong writing skills and advanced skills using technology to create and modify templates
  • High degree of proficiency in the use of Outlook Excel, PowerPoint and other productivity tools
  • Experience managing and meeting tight and changing deadlines.
  • Experience translating complex technical concepts into tangible benefits
  • Effective collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.
