Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated Developer/Architect with a strong foundation in .NET development and problem-solving abilities. This role is ideal for candidates looking to grow their architectural thinking while actively contributing to software development. You will work closely with senior architects and developers to design, develop, and optimize enterprise applications.

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, test, and maintain .NET applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, and various messaging technologies
  • Assist in designing software architectures that align with business and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in software design and development.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues efficiently.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring quality and adherence to architectural guidelines.
  • Research and apply new technologies to improve system performance and scalability.
  • Support database design and optimization efforts, particularly with SQL Server, Azure SQL, and CosmosDB.
  • Contribute to documentation, ensuring clarity in system architecture and implementation details.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-3 years of experience in .NET development with a solid understanding of C# and the .NET ecosystem.
  • Basic understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud computing (Azure preferred).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git, Azure DevOps) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Basic knowledge of security best practices in software development.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Blazor) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with message queues (Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ) and event-driven architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks (xUnit, MSTest).
