Insurance Sales Manager


We have a SPOT for YOU at NavSav! We are seeking a passionate, hardworking, and experienced Insurance Sales Player/Coach to drive new business growth within one of our local offices.


NavSav is a rapidly growing independent insurance agency with more than 75 locations across the United States. Our access to 150+ carriers gives our producers the tools and market access needed to provide competitive solutions and close more business.


We are searching for talented leaders who will help us shake up the insurance world and guide the NavSav of tomorrow. Our people bring ambition, passion, and innovation to every dimension of our company.


About the Role


This is a hands-on, player-coach sales position. The Insurance Sales Player/Coachwill manage, coach, and develop a team of approximately 5-10 insurance producers while also maintaining personal new business production goals.

The ideal candidate is an experienced insurance sales professional who leads from the front. This individual will actively prospect and write new business while holding the producer team accountable for achieving individual and team production goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 5-10 insurance producers.
  • Drive individual and team new business production, revenue, and sales activity goals.
  • Personally prospect and write personal lines new business.
  • Conduct regular producer coaching, pipeline reviews, and performance meetings.
  • Establish clear sales expectations and hold producers accountable for results.
  • Help producers develop prospecting strategies, referral relationships, and local sales opportunities.
  • Monitor sales activity, conversion rates, pipelines, and key performance metrics.
  • Support recruiting efforts by identifying and attracting local sales talent.
  • Implement company sales processes, procedures, and performance standards.
  • Build and maintain relationships with referral partners, prospects, and local businesses.


Required Skills and Licensing

  • 5+ years of property and casualty insurance sales experience.
  • 2+ years of insurance sales leadership experience.
  • Active Property and Casualty Insurance License.
  • Demonstrated success producing and closing new business.
  • Experience coaching producers and managing sales performance.
  • Strong leadership, accountability, and motivational skills.
  • Excellent prospecting, negotiation, and closing abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
