Job description

This position identifies and hires qualified drivers to support our recruiting goals and business growth. This role makes a significant impact to the organization, while working in a collaborative and open culture. Successful candidates will have a positive, upbeat attitude, and a competitive personality. Compensation is base salary with opportunity to earn uncapped monthly commission/additional incentive, the typical incentive ranges from $10K-$30K annually. Onsite position at the corporate office in DePere, Wisconsin.
Specific Responsibilities of a Driver Recruiter:
  • Provide candidates with detailed information about the Company's open positions and job expectations.
  • Accountable for meeting key metrics within the recruiting area to include meeting call targets, converting applicants to employees, and establishing a pipeline for future demands.
  • Understand the recruiting needs and demands of PTIs internal customers.
  • Responsible for understanding our operations, to attract drivers for current and future openings.
  • Create meaningful relationships with potential candidates and align the Company's needs with the driver's needs.
  • Have persistence and a sense of urgency to continue to meet and exceed goals
  • Travel to CDL truck driving schools, career fairs, and industry events to actively recruit, interview, and engage prospective driver candidates.

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in Business or a related field required
  • Two years of experience in sales or recruiting preferred
  • One or more years transportation experience preferred
