About the role:

This Project Manager role is a full-time, hybrid position in our Parts and Solutions Division. Responsibilities include: collaborating with stakeholders to develop clear project scopes and objectives; developing a detailed plan to monitor & communicate project progress and coordinate the resolution of issues; working with team members throughout the organization, as well as external stakeholders and solution providers for seamless execution; measuring project performance using appropriate tools; and leading project updates to stakeholders and management.

What you will do:

  • Develop project scopes, objectives, and budgets involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility
  • Develop a detailed plan to monitor project progress, collaborate to schedule and delegate work efforts, and coordinate the resolution of issues as they arise. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Work closely with team members from various internal departments, as well as external stakeholders and solution providers, to ensure the seamless execution of projects.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate project management tools and lead project updates to stakeholders and management.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends in order to develop and evolve our project management practice.

Hybrid Office Environment based in Grand Rapids, MI: T-Th in Office; M/F remote option

What you need to have:

  • Education:  Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience: 2-7 years
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Strong familiarity with project management methodologies, best practices, and software tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively; excellent analytical skills
  • Proven self-management and team management skills

What would be nice to have:

  • CAPM, CPM, or PMP certification is beneficial but not required
  • Understanding of ITGC, Change Management, and Agile Methodologies is beneficial but not required

The salary for this position ranges from $76,000 to $96,000 annually. The specific salary for a successful candidate will depend upon, among other legitimate factors, education, training, and/or experience.
