Raytheon is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) to support a special program within the Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) strategic business unit. This role will require the individual work onsite in Raytheon's Tucson, AZ location.
The Material Program Manager (MPM) is responsible for managing Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) activities within the Evolved SeaSparrow Missile (ESSM) portfolio. This MPM will serve as the interface between Supply Chain and the program's integrated product teams, or equivalent organizations. Key responsibilities include the following: developing and implementing material strategies, material forecasting, ensuring cost and schedule requirements are met, evaluating metrics to monitor GSCM health, supplier assessments, and development/support of ROMs/proposals.
What You Will Do:
  • Drive processes to successful completion in support of a very aggressive schedule of deliveries
  • Operate with minimal oversight, yet readily recognize and escalate when assistance is required
  • Adapt to strategic and tactical tasks
  • Work in a cross-functional team-oriented environment
  • Experience in managing multiple conflicting priorities
  • Process information from multiple sources to achieve a successful outcome

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive, relevant business experience in supply chain, operations, program planning, estimating, compliance or another similar/related field
  • Experience in operations, program planning, estimating, or compliance in a manufacturing and/or supply chain environment.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
