Insurance Program Manager
Lewisville, TX 
BayMark Health Services is seeking an experienced Insurance Program Manager to oversee and administer the organization’s commercial insurance programs, risk management initiatives, and claims coordination across a multi-site healthcare environment.
This role will partner closely with executive leadership, legal, HR, and external insurance partners to manage risk exposure, support claims investigations, coordinate renewals, and ensure compliance with insurance and liability requirements. The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, and experienced in managing complex insurance programs within healthcare or similarly regulated industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage BayMark’s workers’ compensation, general liability, professional liability, and other commercial insurance programs.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to gather information required by insurance brokers and carriers for ongoing program administration, claims handling, renewals, and acquisitions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for insurance brokers, carriers, and internal stakeholders regarding insurance matters.
  • Review lease agreements and contractual documents to ensure compliance with insurance coverage requirements.
  • Oversee claim reporting, claim coordination, and payment processing across insurance programs.
  • Provide support for claims investigations, litigation support, and risk mitigation efforts.
  • Lead the preparation and coordination of insurance renewals and policy updates.
  • Manage the Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) program and motor vehicle policies in coordination with the HR department.
  • Monitor and analyze loss trends, claim frequency, and claim severity, advising executive leadership on potential risks and liabilities.
  • Present short- and long-term risk management priorities, goals, and strategic initiatives to executive leadership.
  • Assist the executive team with special projects, risk initiatives, and compliance-related efforts as needed.
  • Maintain and prepare reports, correspondence, records, and documentation related to insurance programs and risk management activities.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Legal Studies, Insurance Analytics, Risk Management, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing insurance and risk management programs within a multi-site healthcare organization.
  • Demonstrated experience training teams on risk mitigation, insurance coverage requirements, and strategic risk initiatives.
  • Proficiency using Risk Management Information Systems (RMIS) or similar claims tracking and risk management systems.
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance policies, policy administration, and claims management.
  • Experience working directly with insurance brokers, carriers, adjusters, and legal teams.
  • Knowledge of legal reporting requirements, regulatory rulings, and case law related to claims and insurance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio) and online research tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction while managing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
