Standard Job Description
You will be a Program Management - Subocontract Manager in the Subcontract Operations Center (SOC) team. Our team is responsible for managing subcontract operations, ensuring compliance and supporting program needs.
What You Will Be Doing:
As the Subcontract Program Management Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of buyers placing POs for the Mid-Tier Major Subcontracts Team, supporting programs across all of Missiles and Fire Control. You will play a critical role in enabling your team to succeed and driving results that meet program objectives. Your responislble will include, but not limited to:
  • Assigning daily work and level-loading workload acrss the team of buyers to ensure optimal productivity
  • Reviewing and approving Purchase Order packages as a Delegation of Authority (DOA)
  • Training and developing your team on LMAP, MFC GSC Work Instructions and Procurement Systems to ensure SOC's compliane goal is met
  • Managing expedite requests and quick-turn needs for programs
  • Ensuring buying team updates PR Insights weekly, manages unacknowledged POs and meets program deadlines
  • Ensure team is sending out RFPs and supporting front end proposal process for customer submittal

Basic Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of FAR/DFAR and Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP)
  • Prior professional experience working Supply Chain Management (SCM) fundamentals including processes, procedures, policies, systems and overall understanding of subcontracts
  • Experience with Subcontractor Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
  • Strong communication skills with ability to interface with all levels of management

Desired Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent expreience/combined education, with 8+ years of professional experience
  • Experience in S4/Hana
  • Experience using SAP and Procure to Pay (P2P)
  • Experience with different contracting types
  • Experience leading a large, diverse remote team
  • Ability to balance competing priorites and make sound decisions

GeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States. Locations are assigned a Geo Zone based on the primary work location of the role.
  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 1): $161300.00 - $299500.00
    • Includes metropolitan areas such as Sunnyvale CA; Pal Alto, CA; New York City metropolitan area; Newark, New Jersey; etc.
  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 2): :$145100.00 - $269500.00
    • Includes metropolitan areas such as Denver, CO; King of Prussia, PA; Stratford, CT; Moorestown, NJ; etc.
  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 3): :$129000.00 - $239600.00
    • Includes metropolitan areas such as Dallas-Fort Worth, TX; Orlando, FL; Grand Prairie, TX; Marietta, GA; etc.
  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 4): :$116100.00 - $215700.00
