Member Services Representative
Trusted Fraternal Life (TFL) has an exciting opportunity available for a Member Service Representative to join our team! The individual will be part of our Member Services Department, which is within the Insurance Operations of TFL Arden Hills, MN Office. Opportunities within Insurance Operations may arise, which would be dependent on the demands of TFL. They will report to the Member Services Director. This is an important position with high visibility to Members and Advisors. The ideal candidate must have a passion to provide superior customer service to TFL Members, Advisors, and home office associates.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Member Services Representative, you will:
  • Active participation in our main call center queue - directing and handling calls as appropriate.
  • Handling member inquiries which involve transaction processing or inquiries.
  • Spanish as a second language is preferred.
  • Generating correspondence and forms when applicable.
  • Proactively resolving claims issues and ensuring action steps are communicated with Members and field force.
  • Reviewing generated reports and completing necessary processing.
  • Completing various projects assigned.
  • Active communication with Members, Advisors, and other home office associates regarding status of Member Services.
  • Provide proactive support and input into the re-engineering/transformation of operational processes within Member Services and Operations to help facilitate company growth, improve organizational efficiency, and reduce turnaround time.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Post-Secondary Degree or equivalent experience in life insurance or customer service.
  • Must be bilingual (Spanish/English)
  • A proven track record of high performance.
  • Excellent communication skills that can be dynamically adjusted to different situations and audiences.
  • A desire to set high expectations for yourself and then strive to exceed those expectations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to improve processes that you are responsible for
Successful candidates will be organized, detail-oriented and able to work independently. Individuals must be able to influence other associates at all organizational levels.
Candidates must be skilled in effectively prioritizing work based on a balanced assessment of impact, urgency, and priority to maximize efficiency while minimizing risk. Excellent communication skills are required with the ability to work well in a team environment.
