Description

Perform customer coordination, Initial Test and Acceptance (IT&A), execution of all reporting functions, and complete data input associated with new service activations to ensure they are implemented in accordance with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) standards. Work directly with customers, solution architects and vendor SMEs to implement changes and also identify, analyze, and resolve issue. Manage Service Orders, in accordance with Change Management procedures. Ensure Telecommunication Service Orders (TSOs) are in place and accurate for scheduled network additions and changes. Initiate network device configurations using configlets. Analyze DISN and databases to validate and implement customer requirements. Design and implementation of solutions to highly technical problems through testing, documentation and modification of configurations on network devices. Coordinate and program customer circuit activation with commercial vendors to establish the engineered solution for end-to-end connectivity. Perform network monitoring to assess if deployed changes have caused impacts to customer traffic using provided expectations of traffic behavior, lessons learned, and customer reporting. Utilize systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software, or system functional requirements in support of customer resources. Engage with the DISA project managers and/or customers to resolve issues with incomplete or unclear requirements. Reach out to stakeholders and facilitate approvals as necessary to ensure continual forward progress of the service request.

Strong written and verbal communications, team building and collaboration skills. An active Secret security clearance is required. DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent). Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience at DISA, or knowledge of DISA systems and processes. Prior experience with SharePoint data entry. Experience performing customer outreach. Experience with DISA Request Fulfillment process and associate documents (TSRs, TSOs, completion reports) and circulars experience. Basic understanding of Department of Defense, its policies, and hierarchy. Basic understanding of DISA organizational structure and how different elements (DITCO, etc.) contribute to fulfilling mission partner TSR requirements. Network certifications: Cisco Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, etc.), Microsoft certifications (MCSE, etc.), security certifications (Security + CE, CISSP, etc.)- ITIL certification.
