The Opportunity:

The Personal Insurance Executive develops new business relationships and insurance coverage solutions for habitational, property, casualty, and other available products to prospective and existing clients.

Personal Insurance Executive is responsible for obtaining opportunities to consider new business accounts, acquire underwriting information along with inputting the information into the applications, if required, to the Underwriting or Marketing Departments.

Personal Insurance Executive is responsible for identifying client needs, educating clients of the organization's insurance products and maintaining a high-level skill with client relations. Personal Insurance Sales Representative will also work with sales channels to raise awareness of company offerings and initiate new business ventures to increase market share and meet company goals.

Full-Time career working out of our Winnipeg head office located at 1661 Portage Ave

What you will bring to the role:

  • Completion of CAIB 1 is a minimum requirement. Working towards CAIB 2 and 3. Level 2 License

  • CAIB Designation is preferred

  • University Degree in Sales & Marketing or equivalent years of experience is preferred

  • Current knowledge in all aspects of personal lines is required

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in insurance sales is preferred

  • Motivated to help support a diverse team and contribute to a team environment

  • Pro-active and a self-starter with a keen attention to detail

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectivity in both written and verbal

  • Works well in a fast paced, client-focused environment

  • Proficiency in windows-based computer systems
