Life Sciences Partnering & Licensing Attorney
Locations: Boston, Palo Alto, San Diego
Practice Area: Life Sciences Partnering

Direct Counsel is seeking a Life Sciences Partnering & Licensing Attorney to join a highly regarded firm with a nationally recognized Life Sciences Corporate Partnering & Licensing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an associate with experience in strategic commercial transactions within the life sciences sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Structure, negotiate, and draft strategic commercial transaction agreements, including licenses, collaboration agreements, and other commercial contracts.
  • Advise life sciences clients on complex partnering and licensing transactions in both domestic and international markets.
  • Work closely with corporate, regulatory, and intellectual property teams to support clients in the biotech, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • 3-6 years of experience representing life sciences companies in strategic transactions, either in a law firm or in-house setting.
  • Strong background in commercial transactions, licensing, and collaborations within the life sciences industry.
  • Corporate or patent experience and/or a technical degree is a plus.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Salary Range: $260,000 - $390,000 (Final offer dependent on experience and location).
