Litigation Associate Attorney – New York

Direct Counsel is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join a prestigious Am Law firm in New York. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside an accomplished litigation team handling sophisticated and high-profile matters across industries.

About the Role

The firm’s litigation practice is known for its strategic advocacy, practical problem-solving, and business-minded approach. The team represents clients in complex commercial disputes from pretrial through appeal, collaborating across practice areas to achieve efficient and effective results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle complex litigation matters from inception through resolution, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.

  • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, briefs, and other pleadings.

  • Oversee document production and manage discovery processes.

  • Collaborate closely with team members and clients to advance litigation strategy.

  • Contribute to thought leadership initiatives through writing, speaking engagements, and client development activities.
