What You Will Do: 

  • Daily Tier review attendance
  • Work with supply chain team to effectively manage the escalation process for both internal and external supply
  • Review materials availability (X-Chart/Mismatch) 
  • Support Supervisor in managing Lines of Balance for each Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) within their responsibility
  • Develop production and kitting plans
  • Manage work order release in line with MPS requirement
  • Inventory control/accuracy
  • Manage escalation process when a sustained deviation from plan occurs
  • Management of engineering change introduction
  • Management of SAP inventory transactions in line with agreed processes
  • Working with Production Execution Team, production schedules, materials, and equipment to ensure on time in full delivery to all Customers
  • Capacity Analysis using business tools, identify risks, and opportunity
  • Communication of all customer delivery commitments
  • Provide daily updates on delivery misses and capture root cause
  • Management of KPI’s as required
  • Investigate customer reschedule request and analyze MRP/Sales Impact and communicate
  • Support Monthly SI&OP Process with data input and meeting discussions
  • Support team in the use of ACE tools (5s, TPM, Turnback collection)
  • Work with suppliers and internal network to mitigate gaps in material supply
  • Provide timely communication to manufacturing, engineering, and other relevant internal functional personnel
  • Work within a team to analyze and evaluate bids to select best supplier
  • Issue and update purchase orders in SAP
  • Expedite parts
  • Evaluate vendor reliability
  • Track daily supplier shipments
  • Perform price justifications
  • Contract/purchase order knowledge 
  • Control the flow of incoming materials to efficiently meet manufacturing requirements


What Will You Bring:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience and demonstrated success within a planning role
  • Proficient in SAP Planning and Shop Floor Execution
  • Good understanding of SAP Inventory Management
  • Experience in generating and communicating capacity plans
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced MS office skills (VBA Advantageous)
  • Understanding of business KPI’s and financial goals.
  • Ability to work to deadlines, prioritize workload, and teamwork
  • Knowledge in manufacturing operation systems (ACE/6 Sigma) 


Pay Range: $27/hour - $32/hour

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements: This role is considered an on-site position located in Windsor Locks, CT. 

  • You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours (First Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM).
  • Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking and ability to lift up to 40 lbs. 


Travel Requirements: Due to the nature of the work, no travel is required.

Citizenship Requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
