About the Role:
We're seeking an Account Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated to grow within the organization. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player with a positive, professional attitude and strong customer focus.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain regular communication with existing and prospective clients to identify potential product needs
  • Respond to and process incoming calls and orders
  • Open new accounts and support existing customers
  • Make proactive outbound calls to generate business
  • Provide pricing quotes and follow up on outstanding quotations
  • Offer basic technical support on products
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current and new products
  • Identify opportunities to support clients with project needs and non-stock products
  • Identify opportunities for repeat business and long-term relationships

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Previous sales or inside sales experience in the Canadian electrical industry (asset)
  • Knowledge of the electrical industry (asset)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to develop long-term client relationships
  • Highly organized with strong multitasking and attention to detail
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to learn products quickly
  • Experience preparing quotations, bid packages, and pricing proposals
  • Willingness to work overtime when required and contribute to a team-focused environment
