Life Insurance Sales Representative:

Position Overview
High volume Desjardins Insurance Agent, located in Newmarket, seeking outgoing career-oriented professional to join our growing team of insurance professionals. As an Agent team member you will posses business development skills which will allow you to be a successful producer in life insurance. Our environment is based on mutual respect where you will be making your own decisions while getting maximum support from the Agent. Our Agency has mentored team members to provide them with the necessary skills for career path moves within the insurance industry.
Main responsibilities
Develop leads, schedule appointments and market products and services as per customer requirements
Work along side Agent to meet agency targets and goals
Provide prompt and accurate customer service
Educate and advises our clients on Desjardins products, while adhering to the company's underwriting guidelines and compliance
Qualifications
LLQP is preferred
Product/service sales experience is preferred but not required
Successful track record in meeting sales quotas/goals is preferred
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Out-going personality that enjoys speaking with people
Superior social media skills- Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter
