Job Summary and Qualifications Provides administrative level assistance to the Nursing Administrative Team including clerical support, committee meeting minutes, scheduling appointments, meetings, and conference room, maintains records and reports, and acts as the "gatekeeper" to Nursing Administration. 


What you will do in this role:

1. Acts as the Administrative Assistant to the CNO, and other Nursing Administration, providing secretarial support, scheduling of appointments and calendars, approving time in Kronos, and other duties as assigned.

2. Acts as a valued and trusted member of the MGMTteam, often serving as the eyes and ears of Nursing Admin.

3. Interacts with physicians & allied health professionals and serves as the initial contact between the Medical Staff Admin. 

4.  Meet the personal & practical needs of patients, families, and visitors as described in "Patients First Service" 

5. Accepts accountability for completion of assignments, demonstrates reliability, dependability and utilizes and material cost-effectively.
6. Must have the ability to maintain and protect confidential information.
7. Continue self-development by seeking out educational opportunities such as inservices, Healthstream, etc.
8. Reflects HCA values and its ethical and compliance principles in his/her daily activities (Code of Conduct). 
What qualifications you will need:

Must be proficient with the computer.

Medical Terminology course preferred.

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
