Location: Greensboro, GA , In-person
Job Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday
Pay rate: $70,000- $85,000 (DOE)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the day-to-day accounting function and support financial health of the organization. The ideal candidate is an accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and adapts to changing priorities. This role requires attention to accuracy, accountability, and timely financial reporting.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including General Ledger (GL) and Accounts Payable (AP).
  • Manage full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end close.
  • Prepare financial records and supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Communicate with managers, vendors, and internal departments regarding accounting-related matters.
  • Provide leadership and support to accounting staff as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency.
  • Perform additional accounting duties as assigned.


Requirements and Skills:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience and previous leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with full-cycle accounting, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), month-end close, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and audit preparation.
  • Strong bookkeeping and accounting generalist background.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, QuickBooks Online, and Microsoft Office (Excel required).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing priorities, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours during month-end close and audit periods as needed.
  • U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.
