Join Our Team

A well-established warehousing, fulfillment, and logistics company is seeking a computer-savvy, detail-oriented Account Manager to serve as the day-to-day point of contact for a portfolio of existing clients.

This is a client service and operations position—not a sales role. You will focus on supporting current clients, processing orders, maintaining accurate information, and coordinating with internal operations teams. There is no cold calling or new-business prospecting.

The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in client services, logistics, warehousing, fulfillment, or supply chain operations is highly desirable; however, training is available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for multiple client accounts
  • Respond to client questions and provide timely updates
  • Enter and maintain accurate information in internal systems
  • Process customer orders and generate shipping labels
  • Answer incoming calls and assist with general customer service needs
  • Coordinate product returns and resolve order-related issues
  • Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to meet client expectations
  • Perform general office and administrative duties
  • Monitor deadlines and follow up on outstanding requests
  • Assist with special projects as assigned

Qualifications

Candidates must have one of the following:

  • An associate or bachelor’s degree
  • A technical school certificate in business, computer science, IT, or a related field
  • At least three years of relevant professional experience

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in logistics, fulfillment, warehousing, supply chain, account management, or client service is preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required
  • Strong general computer skills and the ability to learn new software
  • Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) is helpful but not required
  • Accurate data-entry and keyboarding skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Strong organization, time management, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to prioritize responsibilities
  • Positive, professional, and solutions-oriented attitude

If you are a quick learner, comfortable with computers, type at a moderate or fast pace, and take pride in accuracy, you could be a great fit for this position. The company is committed to finding the right person and is willing to provide training.

Benefits

  • Health insurance
  • Dental insurance
  • Vision insurance
  • SIMPLE IRA with company match
  • Paid holidays
  • Paid time off
  • Opportunities for internal growth

Work Requirements

  • This is a fully on-site position; remote work is not available
  • Candidates must be able to reliably commute to West Greenwich, Rhode Island
  • Local candidates are strongly preferred
