Client Relationship Manager, Institutional Partnershipsย 

Team | New York, NY
(4 days/week in office; 5 days/week during first 6 months)

What you'll do:ย 

We're looking for a Client Relationship Manager to join our Growth team and support the expansion of our Institutional client segment.

This role sits at the intersection of relationship management and client service. You'll work closely with senior team members to build and deepen relationships with institutional clients and support the process end to end, from initial conversations through ongoing support.

This role is ideal for someone who is looking to deepen their experience in client relationship management and has an interest in values-aligned investing.ย 

More specifically you'll:ย 

  • Support, build and cultivate strong relationships with institutional clients, working both independently and in close collaboration with the Growth team to establish trust
  • Develop a deep understanding of client needs and clearly communicate Ethic's value proposition, products, and sustainability approach
  • Partner with more senior team members to help accelerate client onboarding and contribution to AUM growth
  • Help facilitate ongoing client reviews, updates, and account service requests with a high level of responsiveness and attention to detail
  • Partner cross-functionally with Growth, Investments, Product, Client Success, and leadership to deliver a seamless and high-quality client experience
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes, drive automation, and enhance the overall client experience

What you'll bring to the table:

  • You have 3+ years of experience in a client-facing role within a financial services firm
  • You bring a strong understanding of public equity markets, direct indexing, and sustainable or mission-aligned investing
  • You're a clear and confident communicator, comfortable presenting and interacting with clients
  • You're highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • You're a strong problem solver who can think critically and navigate ambiguity
  • You're proactive, take ownership, and collaborate well across teams
  • You have a genuine interest in sustainable and impact-focused investing

Compensation & Benefits:ย 

Compensation at Ethic is a combination of base salary, equity (stock options) in the company, and benefits.ย 

The base salary for this role will range from $110,000-$120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, alongside a competitive variable compensation package.ย
