 What this position entails

Delivering exceptional ROI, the Milliman IntelliScript Irix® rules engine offers clients intelligent analysis of prescription histories and other medical data. Irix empowers life and health insurance underwriters to make informed decisions by generating comprehensive, customized reports that streamline the risk analysis process.

Reporting to the Team Lead, Client Relationships, the Client Relationship Manager supports the Client Relationship Management team in ensuring client satisfaction and revenue retention. Our clients depend on us to present and interpret data that influences their daily business operations. In this role, the Client Relationship Manager collaborates with Client Relationship Managers, Sales Executives, Analytics, Operations, and technical product teams to deliver detailed, accurate reports, draw meaningful inferences from data, and identify significant trends.

What you will be doing

    • Independently manage a portfolio of client accounts, with responsibility for relationship development, retention, and performance
    • Develop a thorough understanding of clients’ products, dedicated accounts, workflows and how our products integrate into their operations
    • Utilize internal information and resources effectively to manage client business and overall portfolio
    • Proactively identify client growth opportunities and educate customers on additional product offerings
    • Coordinate and lead 2-3 in-person client meetings per month with stakeholders at all organizational levels
    • Attend Regional and National Conferences and coordinate and staff conference booths as needed
    • Provide training, ongoing support and account maintenance
    • Take ownership of internal process improvements by identifying obstacles and proposing solutions
    • Collaborate appropriately with other Milliman IntelliScript business units and departments, including operations, sales, marketing, analytics, IT, and legal
    • Manage legal documents as needed, e.g. agreements, amendments, BAA, etc.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contacts and activities in Salesforce
    • Study current market conditions and industry trends that affect our clients and our business
    • Represent the Milliman IntelliScript brand with maturity and professionalism

    What we need

      • 2+ years of professional experience (can include internships)
      • Must be able to demonstrate critical thinking skills
      • Must be able to successfully manage ambiguous situations
      • Desire to build and nurture trusted client relationships and long-term partnerships through a relationship-driven approach
      • Past experience and continued ability to travel nationwide, up to 20% (usually day trips or overnight) for client meetings, conferences and company events
      • Strong command of Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Zoom

        Location

        The expected application deadline for this job is September 30, 2026. This position is open to remote work. Applicants must be willing to travel to the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI as needed and travel nationwide for meetings, conferences, and team events (up to 20%).

        Compensation

        The overall salary range for this role is $71,700 - $131,905. For candidates residing in:

        • Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia, New York City, Newark, San Jose, or San Francisco the salary range is $82,455 - $131,905.
        • All other locations the salary range is $71,700 - $114,700.

        A combination of factors will be considered, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc.
