What are we looking for

We are looking for an Installer Helper to join our Fabrication Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

 
What you will do

At the direction of the Install Manager and the Lead Installer, the Installer Helper role is to aid in the installation of our countertops, tiles or various application to produce the best quality of work and in accordance with the project design and specifications. 

Job Expectations:

  • Ensure all products are installer efficiently and on time as per installation drawings
  • Transfer tools, parts, equipment and supplies from the shop to the job area
  • Check orders and documents related to the installation before arriving to the location 
  • Load jobs in the truck and carrying them to the customers location
  • Perform basic installation methods with supervision.
  • Report and monitor order changes
  • Inspect every job at the shop to ensure that meets our quality standards to get highest scores from customers.
  • Follow the installation process, construction environment and safe work practices 
  • Read and interpret architectural blueprints
What you need to succeed

EXPERIENCE
Required

  • 2+ years of experience with installation

EDUCATION
Required 

  • High School Diploma/GED

KNOWLEDGES
Preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.) 
  • Bilingual – English/Spanish

SKILLS
Required

  • Ability to multi task and work in an extremely fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 
  • Able to use power tools effectively
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75lbs.
