Job description

At Koala Insulation of Madison, we are looking for an experienced, professional individual to lead and motivate a team in completing our insulation services with quality and efficiency in mind. In addition, this role is responsible for identifying and correcting spray foam issues and providing coaching to more junior installers.

Leadership Responsibilities
1. Trains and coaches new employees.
2. Performs insulation removal and installation in attics and crawlspaces, while leading the crew.
3. Handles conflict resolution as needed and in accordance with company policy.
4. Communicates effectively with Operations Manager regarding any employee issues that do not align with company policy.
Duties/Responsibilities
1. Safety: Adheres to, champions, and enforces jobsite safety in accordance with all federal, state, and local occupational and health and safety laws. Ensures that rig is safely driven to jobsite locations.
2. Operations: Reads specifications to determine job requirements and ensures that enough supplies are on hand. Removes and installs insulation based on specifications of each job. Ensures that all guidelines are followed with equipment set up and operation. Leads team to complete high quality with each job while maintaining efficiency.
3. Technical: Ensures vehicle, insulation rig, and equipment are properly maintained and in good working order. Ability to operate, maintain, and diagnose issues with equipment.
4. Customer Service: Communicates professionally with customer, completes paperwork, and accepts payment for work completed. Ensures that team presents a professional image and that jobsite is thoroughly cleaned upon completing the job.
5. Other: Continuous improvement of customer service, quality, efficiency, and safety. Performs other related duties as required.
Required Skills/Abilities
· Ability to motivate and influence others with their leadership.

· Prolonged periods of walking, standing, stooping, climbing, kneeling, and crawling.
· Working environment may be subject to high temperatures, confined spaces, dust/dirt, hazardous chemicals, and heights.
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently
