Job description

As a leader in the industry, Insituform Technologies USA, LLC, an Azuria Water Solutions company, is a global company that has been providing pipeline protection services for more than 50 years. Insituform values employee development and empowerment and are looking for innovative individuals to join their team and contribute to maintaining critical infrastructure worldwide.

We are currently hiring Construction Laborers with a valid CDL license and who are already members of a local union to join our team in Bridgeton, MO. As a Construction Laborer, you will be responsible for the installation of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) for various municipal, industrial, storm, and sewer line rehab and repair projects. This position requires working with minimal oversite while still adhering to instructions closely.

The starting pay is $40.31-$40.82 per hour depending on the Local Union area rates.

What Youโ€™ll Do:

  • Repair various types of sewer lines by using a specific product and process
  • Ensure pull-in tube is properly prepared for installation by examining D-Rings, chains, and attachment to pulling cable
  • Install prepared tube using a winch, backhoe, crane, or other appropriate material
  • Monitor gauges, dials or other indicators to ensure equipment is working properly
  • Cure resin products using an inflation tube, banding boots, layflat, boiler hose, etc.
  • Learn / train on Insituformโ€™s products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques, and equipment
  • Drive various vehicles (pickup trucks to tractor-trailer rigs) to haul crews and equipment
  • Perform set up and clean up tasks at job site / shop

What We Need From You:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience as a Construction Laborer and / or Installation Technician highly preferred
  • OSHA certifications are a plus
  • Valid driverโ€™s license required with clean motor vehicle report
  • Must possess a Class A or B CDL and be aligned with Insituformโ€™s motor vehicle standards (Hazmat endorsement is preferred but not required)
  • Must be a member of one of the Local STL Unions - Local 660, 42, or 110
  • Must be able to wear a respirator and body harness while entering confined spaces
  • Ability to lift / move up to 75 pounds and use pneumatic, battery-powered, or electric tools
  • Comfortable working outside at job sites with moving vehicles and mechanical operations, with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles
  • Must be able to travel weekly (potentially out of state)
