Contractual Insituform Jobs (NOW HIRING)

The Contract Specialist serves as a primary point of contact for a full range of contract functions and responsibilities for our Infrastructure Solutions Platform with customers primarily in the CIPP industry around the world. This position will require close collaboration across numerous departments, including business development, operations, finance, treasury and legal.

Responsibilities:

• Read and understand contract documents as directed by the project manager in order to ensure compliance withsubmittals,requirements for on-time payment of work complete,change orders andclose out and retention requirements. (30%)

• Provide the Project Manager with pre-construction documentation and assist in preparing the communication and Change Management Plans. (30%)

• Assist in identifying, tracking, and preparing key submittals, notifications, permits and other contractual requirements during the pre-construction, construction and close out phases of all projects. (25%)

• Determine whether contract documents meet company standards, draft proposed revisions to contract documents when appropriate, and negotiate proposed revisions with customers and subcontractors. (10%)

• Other duties as assigned by management. (5%)

Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree required with paralegal certificate preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years related experience reviewing construction or other contract documents required.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask and take initiative to complete tasks without constant direction.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication as well as time management skills.

• Adapt to conflicting deadlines and priorities established by company and bid deadline demands.
