Job description

We are looking for a talented and competitive Inside Sales Representative that thrives in a customer relationship management environment.

What does an Inside Sales Representative do?

An inside sales rep will play a fundamental role in achieving our revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable interacting with internal and external customers daily in a fast-paced environment. You will be responding to customers, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming sales calls.
  • Respond to customer quotes, calls, and emails.
  • Follow up on inbound sales leads.
  • Order and fulfil sample requests
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our products to answer customer questions.
  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools.
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
  • Work with team members to provide excellent customer service.
  • Accurately maintain our customer relation management system.
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements, service existing customer base to the levels of excellence expected.
  • Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Proven sales experience, customer service experience, and high level of motivation.
  • Excellent phone presence.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong listening and presentation skills.
  • Ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Have a high sense of urgency and ability to follow up and follow through every time.
  • Able to proficiently learn and use data entry software

Work environment and schedule

  • Office setting
  • Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, Friday 8:00 AM-1:00 PM
  • Occasional additional required hours on Fridays possible
