Position Summary

The Inside Sales Specialist provides tactical sales support, customer and distributor coordination, pricing administration, and business development support for the Medical and AES divisions. This position serves as a key internal resource for sales opportunities, quotes, demonstrations, pricing programs, distributor readiness, CRM data accuracy, reporting, and cross-functional follow-up.

  • Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for customer, distributor, and internal sales questions related to quotes, products, demonstrations, pricing, contracts, sales opportunities, order history, and program details.
  • Support distribution partners by helping set up, communicate, administer, and maintain sales programs, pricing programs, growth incentives, and market readiness initiatives.
  • Assist with preparation, notification, publication, and ongoing administration of pricing agreements; coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Accounting, and Operations to ensure pricing information is accurate and available in applicable systems.
  • Support business development activities by coordinating account information, tracking opportunities, assisting with customer follow-up, preparing sales materials or reports, and supporting new opportunity development.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data in Prophet or similar systems, including contacts, opportunities, customer details, distributor activity, government/international customer information, and sales lead status.
  • Manage sales lead intake, distribution, follow-up, reporting, and status tracking to support timely response and conversion.
  • Generate, modify, and analyze ad hoc sales reports, KPI information, forecasts, customer activity, and program performance data using Prophet, Power BI, Excel, or other available tools.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key customers, distributors, independent manufacturer representatives, internal sales team members, and cross-functional partners.
  • Coordinate with Customer Experience, Operations, Production, Logistics, Accounting, and Marketing to support customer expectations, scheduling, order follow-up, deliveries, RMAs, invoices, shipping notifications, commissions, and bonus programs.
  • Assist with show orders, trade show preparation, sales meetings, sample administration, demo policies, demo inventory tracking, and related follow-up activities.
  • Monitor and support adherence to company sales policies, pricing procedures, quality policy, and operating philosophies in all activities.
  • Ability to demonstrate product to customers including distributors and end users.
  • Travel as needed to trade shows, distributor meetings, sales meetings, customer visits, and business development activities.

Qualifications
  • BA/BS in Business, Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of demonstrated experience in a sales support, account management, customer support, distributor support, or business development support role preferred.
  • Experience supporting distributors, manufacturer representatives, OEM customers, or channel sales programs strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of quoting, pricing administration, customer follow-up, sales programs, and CRM data management.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with Prophet, Power BI, ERP systems, SQL, Microsoft Query, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with poise, tact, diplomacy, and professionalism.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, including the ability to compose, proof, prioritize, and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, distributors, sales partners, and internal cross-functional teams.
  • Self-starter who is detail-oriented, receptive to feedback, and able to work independently while supporting team goals.
