WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY BE DOING:
  • Customer Interaction: Deliver outstanding service by efficiently managing customer interactions and transactions, including orders, quotes, and returns.
  • Sales Execution: Generate new and repeat sales by providing detailed product and technical information, and recommend alternate products based on customer needs and availability.
  • Operational Management: Monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely order fulfillment and expedite shipments as necessary to meet customer expectations.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records in the P21 system, ensuring all customer and transaction data is up-to-date and complete.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the outside sales team and other members of the distribution team to meet monthly sales quotas and achieve gross margin targets.

OUR MUST HAVES:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales role, with a strong preference for experience in inside sales or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate product-related information and sales terms effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, specifically P21.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in sales, marketing, or a related field is advantageous.
