Job description

Inserso is seeking a Business Systems Analyst - Sr Lead to join our team to provide mission-critical analyst support on USAF logistics (depot maintenance) systems in a Program Management Office (PMO) environment. The candidate will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) team lead and provide functional and/or technical analyses, IT lifecycle management guidance, and expertise to ensure systems remain sustainable and that application system changes are incorporated properly. Candidate will be part of the broader PMO team consisting of Government personnel, SME Team, and other support contractors. Currently, this position is full-time telework; however, this could change at any time depending on direction from the government Capability Delivery Manager (CDM).
Responsibilities:
  • Perform as SME Team Lead for the Contractor Supported Weapon System Data Exchange (CSWS DE) and Commercial Asset Visibility Air Force (CAV AF) programs.
  • Review various artifacts, documentation, and deliverables provided by the Development/Sustainment Contractor to ensure valid and accurate implementation of CSWS DE and CAV AF requirements.`
  • Support CSWS DE and CAV AF release activities and milestones/reviews.
  • Work with program stakeholders to facilitate CSWS DE and CAV AF activity accomplishment and resolve program/functional issues and mitigate risks.
  • Assist PMO in assuring CSWS DE and CAV AF system requirements are accurately identified, documented, tracked, and prioritized. Requirements may consist of functionality, system, architecture, or software design/development.
  • Serve as a member on the Functional Review Board (FRB) and Configuration Control Board (CCB) working groups representing CSWS DE and CAV AF.
  • Assist the PMO in managing CSWS DE and CAV AF tasks, milestones, and implementation of Business and Enterprise System (BES) lifecycle and agile methodologies are implemented by the Development/Sustainment contractor within scheduled milestones and suspense dates.
  • Maintain, track, and coordinate problems/issues for Problem/Deficiency Reports, Requirements Identification Documents, User Advisory Notices, and Software Release Packages. Create, modify, and update the Information Systems Management Tool (ISMT) and support agile JIRA tool processing as needed for new and existing requirements.
  • Review and provide input on PMO CSWS DE and CAV AF testing activities and documentation.
  • Provide CSWS DE and CAV AF systems analyst support to other USAF logistics systems as assigned.
  • Create new CSWS DE and CAV AF user accounts and update and review existing user accounts as requested.
  • Attend weekly CSWS DE SCRUM with development team and other stakeholders.
  • Create, validate, and update the information in the IT Investment Portfolio System (ITIPS) and/or other designated systems.
  • Act as the point of contact for all CSWS DE system interfaces to prepare, update, and coordinate required interface control documents (ICDs) in Corporate Data Repository System (CDRS).
  • Provide QA support to include, but not limited to planning, coordinating and completing reviews and audits including defining activities required to complete the QA audit with PMO including analyzing audit findings.
Required Skills/Experience:
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Holds a current investigation or have the ability to pass a corresponding investigation.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Three (3) years of functional experience with CAV AF, CSWS DE, or comparable programs.
  • Three (3) years of technical experience with CAV AF or comparable programs.
  • Working knowledge of AF logistics systems and software life cycle management.
  • Working knowledge of trouble tickets / issues reporting system.
  • Working knowledge of ITIPS or other comparable system.
  • Working knowledge of and coordination of ICDs in CDRS or comparable systems.
  • Agile trained and/or certified.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead/manage others and tasks effectively.
  • Efficient use of Microsoft Office tools as well as Adobe Acrobat.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • Proficient using the Information System Management Tool (ISMT).
  • Working knowledge of JIRA agile tool.
  • Working knowledge of the Management Internal Control Toolset (MICT).
  • Working knowledge of the BES Baseline Operational Database (BOB DB).
  • Proficient using the Information Technology Investment Portfolio Suite (ITIPS).
  • Familiarity with managing ICDs in Corporate Data Repository System (CDRS).
  • Working knowledge of the AWS Cloud environment.
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner certification.
  • Experience with AFLCMC BES Directorate's lifecycle management process.
  • Moderate knowledge of agile methodologies and tools.
